A true Christian never lags behind, but as perfect corn of the field steadily develops in the ear, so also does he develop in the Christian sphere as far as the Light leads him forth. Hence if you have made a start and are still running in the race, there is no reason why you should be lost, “for a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again.” Prov. 24:16. “And if any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.” 1 John 2:1.

Both Paul’s and John’s descriptions make clear that these arise at the commencement of the thousand years. This we see from the facts that they lived with Christ a thousand years, and that they were caught up to meet the Lord in the air, that they were on the way to live with Christ during the thousand years, not Christ with them.
