It has been previously stated that all the books of the Bible meet, and end in the book of Revelation. Therefore, the revelation of Zechariah’s prophecy must be found there also.

@@@^This divinely illustrated lesson is too plain to be misunderstood, or its meaning misconstrued. The only safe way by which God’s servants and His church can be free from error, full of faith without guile in their mouth (all speak the same thing), is the never erring guide—“The Spirit of Prophecy.” The acceptance of so-called truth, without inspiration, is the devil’s trap of deception, and they who advocate such fallacious teachings are the hardest and most impossible ones to rescue from Satan’s bottomless pit; for he makes them believe that confession of their errors would disqualify them for teachers, and dishonor their high standing.

@@@^This prophetic symbol unmistakably points forward to a heavenly agency absorbing human weakness and imperfection into everlasting glory. “A glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” (Eph. 5:27.) A church that keeps “the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” “Clad in the armor of Christ’s righteousness, the church is to enter upon her final conflict. ‘Fair as the moon clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners,’ she is to go forth into all the world, conquering and to conquer.”—“Prophets and Kings,” p. 725. (Song of Sol. 6:10.) To this “candlestick” is the promise: “Behold, I will make thee a new @9sharp@7 threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff. (Isa. 41:15.)

@@@^The “one stone”—the church—shall have complete vision of heavenly glory: “For behold @9the stone@7 that I have laid before Joshua; upon @9one stone shall be seven eyes:@7 behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. In that day, saith the Lord of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig tree.” (Zech. 3:9, 10.) To the servants of God (the church) is granted to possess the earth, and restore the land to the saints to whom it originally belonged. Thus, “They shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the Lord of hosts hath spoken it.” (Micah 4:4.)

The Biblical term for sickness is, “@9Uncleanness@7.” Also, taking into the body in the form of food of that which is forbidden by the Word of God, is @9transgression of the law@7, and corruption of the @9body@7 (uncleanness).

@@@^Verse 1: “Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the @9right@7 side of the house, at the south side of the altar.” As the waters came from the south side of the altar, and then went toward the east, it shows clearly that they proceeded from the @9north@7, which symbolically denotes that whatever the meaning of the “waters” may be, they come from the throne of God, for It is “in the sides of the @9north@7.” (Isa. 14:14; Psa. 48:2; 75:6.)

@@@^The waters that make up this mighty river represents a multitude of saints endowed with healing power from the throne of God; for the Word says, “And everything @9shall live@7 whither the @9river cometh@7.” (Verse 9, last part.) This healing is not indefinite, but permanent; for we read: “And it shall come to pass, that everything that @9liveth@7, which @9moveth@7, whithersoever the river shall come, @9shall live@7” (eternally).

It is remarkable to note how perfect these symbols are in each instance. This direction of the compass denotes that the message of the “@9loud cry@7” is to start eastward when it is first revealed. The church membership being largely east of California and across the Atlantic, naturally the message must start toward the east. This symbolical prophecy reveals that the message of the “@9loud cry@7” is to originate in California. Thus fulfilling the prophetic words of the “Spirit of Prophecy” in a letter to Elder E. E. Andross: “I feel confident Elder Andross, that the brethren in @9Southern California@7 will find a blessing in reviewing the teachings of the Scripture concerning the 144,000 and bringing to bear upon these teachings whatever light there may be in the published writings of the Spirit of Prophecy, and as prayerful consideration is given the matter in all its bearings, I believe that God will make the truth sufficiently clear to make possible the avoidance of needless and unprofitable questions not vital to the salvation of precious souls.”

The conference had submitted the following proposition to the church: They would send the church a tent to be used for evangelist work in the community, provided the church would vote to bar E. T. Wilson and Dr. Stokes from the pulpit. It was a beautiful sight to see the elder in tears, and in broken words say that he could not put such a movement or proposition to the church stating that he had never investigated “The Shepherd’s Rod,” and that Elder Wilson and the doctor were his friends, and men of God so far as he knew, and that he had never heard them teach anything but the truth.

@@@^Dear Brethren: You may not be surprised to learn that I am on record to be tried for ‘heresy’ on Thursday evening, July 26, at 7 P.M. in Canon City. These ‘orders’ come from the ‘Sanhedrin’ of the Colorado Conference, S.D.A. executive department! Thus far, only seven hours of time has been taken to misinterpret the message of the Shepherd’s Rod in the pulpit of the Canon City Church and I presume I will be given 15 minutes’ time in which to reply. I hope and pray that God may give me grace to defend the truth as it is, and at the same time to uncover error. I leave it to you to pass the word to all concerned. I do not know, but they evidently intend to make me ‘an example’ of what is to happen to others, and thus the poor blind sheep are to continue to be frightened to not so much as to even think for themselves! You brethren everywhere pray to the end that something will develop so as to make manifest the utter foolishness of and the weakness of the leaders in keeping the truth from the sheep.–W. S. @@@^Our Free Employment agency is now being organized and we pray and hope that it will prove a success from the very start . This of course will depend very much upon the faithfulness of our brethren who are standing in the light. If we move as a unit in the hand of God, we shall be a mighty power in the earth. Hence , it is necessary that strict attention be given in every line of the work, especially in small things, “for who hath despised the day of small things? saith the Lord.” ( Zech. 4 : 10. ) Therefore , it is very urgent that every believer in present truth report to our employment department as soon as he hears of any work that is to be done in whatever line it may be–small or great . Also , it is necessary that those who desire to obtain employment, state the kind of work they are best fitted for, and the amount of experience they have had along that particular line , for it is our desire to place the right person in the right job. Only those who expect to render faithful service for the least amount of money will be furnished with work.

@@@^At the conference meetings in Los Angeles early this year, it was unanimously adopted that every Friday afternoon at 5 P.M. Pacific Standard Time, believers in present truth would seek God in behalf of the message, believing that such a concerted voice would lay at heaven’s altar, in all truth, “the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man (which) availeth much.”

@@@^Being deprived of all denominational advantages such as sanitariums, health food factories, printing presses, etc., perhaps it may be necessary for a rural location for the establishment of a combined unit to assist in carrying the message to the church until the “siege against it” shall be successfully culminated in a glorious victory when “the zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” (Isa. 9:7.) This has been suggested by a sister and her husband who have had considerable experience in this line. Therefore we call the attention of all who are standing in the light to give consideration to such an enterprise. Anyone having knowledge of such a location and the necessary information regarding it, please communicate it to this office. Our prayers for such an undertaking in behalf of God’s people will be answered by whatever the results to this call might be.

@@@^“One mother in Israel who is a firm believer in the “reformatory movement” that is taught in the SRod, but who was not included in the list of those disfellowshipped arose and pleaded with the pastor and the members to study the Rod for themselves. She further stated to them that they were taking upon themselves a responsibility without knowing what they were doing. In response to her plea the pastor stated that he did not have anything against those being disfellowshipped and that he had not spoken against the SRod, but that he received his orders from higher authority, to which this dear sister replied, ‘There is no higher authority than God, Elder.’ This mother in Israel explained that the S.D.A. church was cradled in her home and referring to those who were disfellowshipped said, ‘These children are my children.’ It was a pathetic plea.

@@@^We are sorry that our brethren have allowed themselves to be controlled and lead by the spirit of the papal tyrant of the dark ages. Thus our hearts are saddened for those who think they are doing God service by crowning themselves as “correctors” of “heretics,” and not for those who are being persecuted, for to them the promise is: “Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.” (Lu. 6:22, 23.)
